An inventive ‘curtain wall’ system! This exclusive LAF system offers a high performance wall which circumvents height restrictions (slenderness ratio) normally applied to conventional walls. LAF’s Trimesh wall is FM Global ‘type tested’ approved to 4 hours and a double Trimesh wall provides a sound reduction of up to 64 dB. Vermitex TH is also a very good lightweight thermal insulator which allows for a considerable reduction of cement (from 170mm to 75mm i.e. 55%) used in conventional firewall construction.
