Product Description
Foamed Vermitex® is produced from expanded lightweight mineral aggregate; water based aerated foam or polymer beads, inorganic hydraulic binders and special additives to impart unique rheological properties.
Effective Fireproofing
A series of fire resistance tests on various timber floor construction systems, treated with Foamed Vermitex® confirmed that the upgrading system provided such protection across the criteria of stability, integrity and insulation for one (1) hour FRL.
Acoustic Performance
Foamed Vermitex® has inherent sound transmission loss properties whereby when upgrading a typical timber floor with 12" joists and 3/4 tongue and groove floorboards, the formed Foamed Vermitex® will also provide an STC / RW of 45.
Technical Information
Foamed Vermitex® is manufactured under factory controlled conditions to ISO 9001-2008; ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 Quality Standards. It is delivered to site in ‘batch’ form, ready to be mixed to the required consistency before application.

Foamed Vermitex® is totally safe and does not contain asbestos or other forms of fibrous materials.
Environmental Sustainability
Foamed Vermitex® has no long-term environmental effects on air, water or land. Both the product and the container are recyclable, or may be disposed of as landfill.
